Our goal is to create environments and experiences where you can encounter Jesus in the midst of life. When you come to Lizella on a weekend, our aim is

that you would be inspired by the music, encouraged by the message, welcomed

by our amazing community of people, & reminded that God’s grace is here!

We are a Church that loves Jesus, teaches the Word of God & is friendly to people.

No church is perfect. No people have ever been perfect, with the exception of the living Son of God, Jesus. So, no pressure. We’re all doing the best we can in an imperfect world. Our History

Back in 1920, Rev. John C. Mays met with Lizella leaders to discuss the need for a Baptist church. Property was purchased and friends from nearby Bethel Baptist voted to support the establishment of a church at Lizella. Over the next two years, the property was improved upon and dedication of the new church was set for October 1, 1922, with Rev. H.H. Mosely as pastor.
